Davis Tool uses two high-speed laser cutting machines. These machines cut almost any material between 0.005" and 0.500" thick, and routinely hold location tolerances of 0.002".

Davis Tool also employs two high-speed CNC turret punches, both with hydraulic rams capable of complex forming operations.

Davis Tool uses 5 electric press brakes to maximize efficiency and accuracy. This technology also provides better process control, allowing us to make up to 1000 bends with 1 program.

At Davis Tool, sheet metal laser and TIG welding are routine. Our 3 axis laser welder finds many applications where fine detail, hermetic seal, or controlled processing are important.

Our highly flexible CNC mills produce accurate, high-quality results. We have 5-axis capability up to 60" cube and 3-axis capability up to 80" of machine travel. We have a wide variety of equipment to use for milling applications.

Our lathes produce professional quality on parts sized .01" to 28" in diameter, with accuracy to .0002". We also use special mill and turn lathes to consolidate manufacturing steps, producing your parts quicker.

High-speed cells, which can run unattended on a 30 MPH shuttle system, make manufacturing your product even quicker. Each machine work center can use as many as 313 tools to work on parts up to 22" x 22" x 22".

Unigraphics NX is our foundation CAD/CAM system. We are able to work with DXF, DWG, IGS, SLDPRT and STP files. We can view the print files in DXF, HPG, PDF and SLDDRW formats.

Davis Tool uses both wire and sinker type EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment to create features which cannot be machined into a part, such as hexagonal holes or undercuts. 4-axis wire EDM machines cut different profiles in the top and bottom of a cut. Davis Tool has customized several machines for other specialized applications.
